Bunker survey
Our marine consultants provide accurate and independent bunker inspection and measurement to make sure that our client receives the volume of fuel purchased. All measurements on board the delivery barge, receiving vessel or at shore side will be taken according to international standards. Sample points will be inspected before taking the drip sample to prevent any contamination. Any irregularities that may occur during the bunker operation will be checked. This includes the most common problem “entrained air” (cappuccino effect).
On/Off hire survey
On and Off Hire surveys will be carried out by our experienced marine consultants at the time requested by our client. This is often at times when the charter party commences or ends. All bunker fuel tanks will me measured manually by taking sounding or ullage and temperature will be measured manually as well. Sampling can be carried out as well if required by our clients.
Our report is very accurate as we keep in mind all the different aspects that can affect the measured quantities. All important info is recorded and collected. Our marine consultants issue their report from on board the vessels, to minimize the waiting time for our clients. Bunkers are still the biggest costs for ship owners and operators. When buying bunker fuel, it is very important for our client that the agreed quantity will be delivered.
Condition survey
Our condition surveys provide you with a detailed and documented proof of the actual condition of the seagoing vessel or inland barge when chartering, selling or buying. A thorough visual inspection is performed by our marine consultants to minimize the risk for quality and quantity issues.
